Marlborough Regional Experience

 Wellington to Blenheim  Duration: 4 days 

Blessed with year-round sunshine and the biggest concentration of wineries in New Zealand, the Marlborough region offers fantastic weather, world-famous wines, gourmet cuisine, breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. Cruise through Queen Charlotte Sound and walk the famous Queen Charlotte Track, two of many highlights on this experience for the senses.

Day 1 - Wellington, Picton, Bay of Many Coves (D)
Take the Interislander Ferry from Wellington across Cook Strait to Picton on the South Island, with views of the Marlborough Sounds including Queen Charlotte Sound. Cruise to idyllic Bay of Many Coves.
Accommodation: Two Night Stay: Queen Charlotte Sound, Bay of Many Coves Resort, an exclusive resort with stunning views over the Sound

Day 2 - Guided Walk, Queen Charlotte Sound Cruise (BD)
Begin the day with a cruise through Queen Charlotte Sound to Ship Cove, a historic reserve and the start of the famous Queen Charlotte Track. Then walk through forest and discover the native birds and plants on your way to Endeavour Inlet, taking in the beautiful views across Marlborough Sounds.

Day 3 - GreenshellTM Mussel Farm, Blenheim (BD)
This morning travel to Havelock and join our cruise to visit a GreenshellTM Mussel Farm for a tasting of fresh mussels matched with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Stay among the vines at Blenheim.
Accommodation: Blenheim, Vintners Retreat Resort.

Day 4 - Marlborough Wine Tour (B)
Sample wines from the iconic Cloudy Bay winery and other excellent wine producers, followed by a tasting of olive oils and handmade chocolates of Makana. This afternoon your tour concludes in Blenheim.
